Step 4: Click on the Paste button from the Standard toolbar.

Similarly, you can apply the same copy and paste formula in the cell D3 and E3.
3.10.13 Using the Fill Handle
The fill handle is the small black square located in the bottom-right corner of a selected cell or range. It can be used to
quickly extend data or formulas into adjacent cells.
(i) Use of Fill Handle for Copying Formula
Step 1: Enter a formula in a cell. In our case, we have inserted the formula(=A2*B2) in cell C2.
Step 2: Select the cell C2 and click on the small square (fill handle) at the bottom-right corner of the selected cells.
Step 3: Drag it down or across to fill the formula in the required cells. In our case, we dragged the fill handle down to
cell C5 and then released the mouse button.
(ii) Uses of Fill Handle for Number Series
Step 1: Enter the first value of the series in a cell. In our case, we have inserted the value 5 in cell A1.
Step 2: Enter the next value of the series in the cell below or to the right. In our case, we have inserted the value 10 in
cell A2.
Step 3: Select cells A1 and A2 and click on the small square (fill handle) at the bottom-right corner of the
selected cells.
